abstract
The paper shows the influence of magnetic field on improvement of seed quality. Spring wheat kernels were treated with a 16 Hz alternating magnetic field. Magnetic induction of the field was 5 mT. The optimum time of treatment of wheat seeds with alternating magnetic field equals 2 h. The best germination of seeds starts around 20 days after being treated with magnetic field. Presowing stimulation with alternating low-frequency magnetic fields has a positive influence on wheat grains germination.
