abstract The paper presents a comparison of particle size distributions of 23 mineral soils from SE Poland obtained by the laser diffraction and aerometric methods. There is good, statistically significant correlation between particle size distribution measured by aerometric and laser diffraction methods. The correlation is better when the results are compared for the same type of soil and for coarser fraction (sand).
